The Monthly Movie Matinee film series at the Linda Hall Library screens films with scientific themes on the last Tuesday of each month. There are no films shown during June, July and August.

In this documentary, the lives of three animal species are monitored for a year. The animals include an elephant family, a pod of whales, and a mother polar bear and her cubs. Narrated by James Earl Jones, this film features breathtaking cinematography.
